We run group classes in Kathak for all ages and abilities, providing an opportunity to discover the joy and versatility of Indian dance as well as to learn new skills and gain physical, mental and emotional nourishment. We have also launched a brand-new Indian Dance for Kids class for children aged 4-8 years.

Classes are all taught by experienced, practicing artists including our very own world-class Kathak artist, Sonia Sabri. Students have the opportunity to perform, take grade examinations through ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), and join the Kathakaars dance and music company led by Sonia Sabri.

Students are expected to attend regularly and, from January 2024, will be required to wear the class uniform which can be purchased via the class teacher.

Parking - There is no onsite parking

There is roadside parking when not busy and open air car parks
immediately opposite and further along Fazeley St.

Moor Street and New Street train stations are just a 10 min walk away
along Fazeley St.
